MOSA GENERAL MEETING MINUTES

to Order: (8:01pm) by Jess Yeager
Clubs Absent: Upper Freehold/Allentown, Beachwood, Hibernian, Lakewood, Manalapan, Ocean Township, Old Bridge Boys, Point Pleasant, Stafford, Wall
Guest: Sayerville AA (Pav Pervan, Cassandra, +1), West Windsor PSA (RM), Coerver (Mike Parshelunis)

President: (Jess) Jess stressed that each club should have someone attend the NJYS Club Summit.
-MOSA Chairs there were two for every club.
-Flight Night- there are a lot of new MOSA Representatives make sure to talk to past MOSA representatives prior to Flight Night so you know what you are doing.
1st VP: (Eric) Discussed MOSA HOF

Member's at Large: (Ryan) MOSA CUP CHALLENGE date on the website will change to register teams by.

Treasurer: (Don) Went over financial reports.
-There are still some clubs that have outstanding
invoices that need to be paid to MOSA.
Secretary: (Bill) Clubs still need to register for the MOSA Appreciation Dinner. (remember this is our regular monthly membership meeting)
everyone how they can go to the MOSA website and check and see what teams have
registered for the Spring 2020. Also stressed that the MOSA Representatives
should double check age and genders that they coaches signed up for.
Referees: (Bill T) Referee classes are listed on the website. Stressed that referee recertification was more intense this year.
Old Business: Brick Township motioned to add West Windsor PSA as a new member club to MOSA; Second by Monroe. Motion passed.
by Red Bank to change the rule dealing with referee not showing up for games.
(If the Referees do not show, that the game shall be given the same
consideration as with a weather cancelation. The teams will have 3 weeks to play
the game (or by end of season which ever comes first), but the game reverts to
the away teams fields, with the original home team still paying the referee
fees and the away team Assignor earning the game assignment fees. This
way the away team does not have to travel again and the kids still get to play
New Business: Motion to add SB4U as a member club to MOSA by Marlboro; Second by Union Beach. Motion was tabled by Brick which was seconded by Neptune so clubs could go back and discuss further.
- Motion to add Sayerville Athletic Association as a member club to MOSA by Hazlet; Second by Old Bridge Girls. Motion was tabled by Bulldogs which was seconded by Lacey so clubs could go back and discuss further.
